There are clients for whom working is not only a pleasure, but also a true pride. The magazine ZNAK definitely falls into this category.

 

What is ZNAK?

“Znak” magazine is a socio-cultural magazine published in Krakow by the Social Publishing Institute “Znak”.

The first issue was published in 1946. Among the people who have published in Znak are Karol Wojtyła, Fr. Józef Tischner, Ryszard Kapuściński, Leszek Kołakowski, Czesław Miłosz, Paweł Jasienica, Gustaw Herling-Grudziński, Antoni Słonimski, Jan Parandowski, Władysław Bartoszewski, Zbigniew Herbert, Stefan Kisielewski, Ludwik Stomma, Jacek Kuroń and Timothy Garton Ash, Norman Davies, Tadeusz Różewicz, and many others.

Production tailored to the client

Someone might say that it’s just a radio commercial, but for us producing spots for a magazine that has done so much for Polish culture is a challenge. And we felt that pressure. Fortunately, we were able to choose wonderful, intriguing music, and we didn’t have any problems with the choice of voiceover artists. It turned out that our tastes are similar to those of our esteemed Krakow clients, and we look at the function and shape of the advertisement in a similar way.

The effect

Can you take your time in an advertisement? Can you create an additional ten seconds instead of twenty, just to calmly and objectively convey important information? You have to – we answer together with ZNAK. That’s why our collaboration has been ongoing since 2015.

What did we do?

  • Conducted a voiceover casting
  • Completed the voiceover recordings
  • Selected the appropriate background music
  • Performed audio editing and mastering for radio broadcast
