What is Naviexpert?
NaviExpert is a GPS-based navigation app for mobile phones and tablets that was launched in 2005. The company was founded by graduates of Poznan University of Technology Andrzej Jaszkiewicz, Maciej Hapke and Rafał Łożyński. In 2007, MCI Management purchased the majority of the shares. Naviexpert works with Orange, Play, Plus and T-Mobile networks.

It was probably the NaviExpert team that first came up with the idea of bringing the navigation comments to life by allowing the selection of different characters. We immediately liked the idea, especially because our role wasn’t limited to recording the voices. We wrote the scripts for standard characters, Ula and Piotr, as well as for stylized characters, among which were Dżoana, Luzak, and Ślązak. For the latter, we used the most famous Śląsk driver, Grzegorz Stasiak.

The effect?

It was a real frenzy. Dżoana conquered the internet, was talked about on radio and TV. The Ślązak version performed by Grzegorz Stasiak was very well received not only by native Silesians. Tens of thousands of downloads from NaviExpert servers speak for themselves.
